Damn, I was hoping with stay with Tige and Bstone.

Errybody and their mother has a hookup on Vortex lol. The seller is offering me cheap parts, a buddy I know is doing the same, and now you. I'm actually confused cause the numbers that the seller told me don't add up to the increase in cost he wanted for them on the bike- I think he was looking to make a profit. Turns out he works for the same company as me so now we're BFF's and I think he's more willing to lend me a hand.

He also said vortex is backordered 3 weeks on rearsets... so I may not have those for the race unless I just buy the set that the seller has.

And I have a set of the moto3 Pirelli slicks, same size those other clowns are running. Gonna throw them on just in case they start getting too fast

Thats crazy cheap. It is $160 for front pads on my 636. I love 250's already

Steve, Dont tell everyone the secret. Let them think all other tire brands are better then pirelli's. They have the track record in the 250 class at every track on the west coast. Plus a new one at ThunderHill 2:08.9 from a 2:09.9

Great to see so many guys dicing up together at an event. I will be doing my first race as a Novice on May 12th (AFM R2) and am pretty excited about it. I wish there was a way to 'teleport' my bike to Chuckwalla for a day of racing.

As for me... I don't do friday track days before the race... I still barely do the practice sessions, AND I have a 25% rate of starting the race in the dirt.

If you guys need tire warmers for the 250, I can get you guys a set for under 160 delivered. They are made for the 250. I have used them for over a year in a half and never had a problem. yeah.. I doubt I'll be anywhere near the front for a while. I've got to slowly buy all the trick parts so that I can convince myself that building a 250 is cheaper than racing my 636. Don't want to actually think about what the total # is gonna be.

well.. as legend has it.. I'm on my 2nd weekend on 250's. I'm only 2 seconds off of your pace... I've gained 2 seconds between the first two rounds. so by my calculations and hypothetical mathematics that puts my on your times for Round 3! (if only i could lay off off le cheezeburgerz)

I got Ted Rich's Elaine to battle with.

She's going to be racing with the 250 for the rest of the season. I'm hoping by the end of the season, I can hang with with Big D.

Keep this in mind: Ted Rich swapped out exhaust and tires and is doing 2:09s. Granted he races AMA but just know the bike is more capable of putting down some fast times stock.

I've reduced my times by 3 R1 and 1 in R2. Nothing to brag about since we're still quite a couple/few seconds behind Rexy but for every 2 seconds per lap you'll be 12 seconds behind by the end of the race. I think that's how I caught up to you from almost dead last to 2nd.
