National Childhood Stroke Awareness May 1, 2010

This isn't my normal thing (helping out, that is.) But a friend of the family has a child who has suffered several strokes, and is prone to seizures. This petition is requesting that May 1 be recognized as a National Day of awareness, rather than individually requesting from each state on a more local level. Please consider participating in this, just by following the link below and adding your name. It takes less time than reading this did, and costs nothing, but may actually help a kid that's suffering.

After the petition, they ask for a donation, but it isn't necessary, and you can simply close the web page, the petition is still signed. If you want to donate, go ahead, but all I'm really hoping for is a signature.

Thanks:

Thanks, folks. Don't know if it'll do any real good, but it's worth trying...
