Cant go wrong with clear. I put a clear tank pad on my white 250 and people kept thinking it was a tank pad that actually matched my 250. x-)

Just about every motorcycle mechanic has a huge number of catalogs. I ordered a black tank pad that actually has Ninja 250R on it. They also come with different colors.

There are just so many to choose from. Just go through one of those catalogs with the salesperson next time you have a chance and I guarantee you will have multiple ones you will like.

I used a clear Pro Grip pad for my Kawi Green ninjette, and it looks great for less than $20. Here is a picture of a Pro Grip on a blue Gixxer. Not exactly a ninjette, but you get the idea:

gfloyd - I like the look of the clear! I've heard that they are difficult to apply, especially bubbles showing. how did you get yours to apply so nicely?

I'm debating between clear, or finding a sharp-looking one with black and kawi blue accents.
Anyone see the Rascal Grafik BLUE tank pad for Kawasaki 250r? how does it look on the bike?

I wish I remembered the name, but I got the one by 3M. It has some of the tank coverage, and is clear.

I found the link to mine, the Tank Slapper.

Correction: I guess I did not get the 3M product.

The Pro Grip clear pad was super easy to apply. Not super thin, so no worries about bubbles at all. Just peel and stick. Apply carefully, from one side to the other. Not at all like putting on window tinting or some such thing that is tricky.

Tank Pad for Blue Ninja

I had the exact same issue. I found someone that made a custom tank pad for me on a transparent material with just silver details!! I looks awsome.I will upload a picture soon.

There are three different blue 250Rs.

You can if the tank is already scratched.

My experience is that they will have hundreds of styles and colors but when it comes to the style I want specifically in blue... it'll be the only color they don't offer it in.

I have a carbon fiber look one on mine and I think it looks great. I've gotten tons of compliments on it too

The carbon fiber is nice. I bought one but didn't realize it was carbon fiber.

Personally it can add a nice splash of contrast but I would personally go with clear/pretty complimentary designs.
