I'm thinking something different.
Maybe keep the black but with golden stripes around and gold wheels.
My bike just have some gold accessories like handlebars, levers and bolts.

I think that could be fine. Or something like the new red vinyls too.

Look at that and replace the whites for golden.

Personally I don't like the black tails that the new ninjettes have. I would have to paint it if I had a new bike.

Hehehe, yah well it was bound to happen sooner or later for me. I love the 250, but mine was getting to be maintenance heavy. I also wanted to get away from carburetors, and just like the V-8 muscle car likeness a good v-twin has combined with the more relaxed riding style.

Don't worry mate, as much as I'd like to upgrade, I can't afford the insurance on a bigger bike until I'm 25. You better believe I'm getting a 600 then though.

Yah, my insurance went up to like $350+ for the year compared to the $160 I was paying for the 250. And I went from basic liability with no comp/collision to full coverage including comp/collision and a $500 deductible. So not too bad of an increase for me I would say.

It is a 2012 Harley Davidson XL883L Sportster Superlow. Just a little over $9000 financed to get her, and that included taxes/tags/title.
