Trying EBC pads again.... mistake?

Those who have been around a while may remember my issues with EBC rotors and pads. Although not the OP, my story is in here: http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showt...t=56322&page=3

Well.... after going back to OEM rotors, and using Galfer pads for the last year(organic... not the best choice), it is time to replace the pads again. Because I hear so many have good luck with the EBC HH pads, I decided to give it ANOTHER try, but this time on my OEM rotors. I just installed and took her on a gentile ride around the block a few times.

First impression: I sure am glad I headed the warnings about taking it slow before they are fully bedded, because it is true.... they DON'T stop yet. Other than this, which wasn't too much of a surprise, nothing felt or sounded funny, although I never went above 30 mph.

HOWEVER, upon inspecting the rotors on my return, I started having flashbacks to the disasters of last year. All my other pads (OEM and Galfer) have always worn shiny and smooth on the rotors. BUT, these new EBC pads are making marks that remind me of last year. I'll post pics below to illustrate what 1/2 mile of slow and easy riding did:

What do you guys think? Is this bad news, or look normal to you?

I guess I won't worry about it then, unless something happens with them. They sure seem a lot rougher on the rotors.

Honestly, I think the stock pads brake better than the ebc pads I have on right now. I sanded down the rotors and flushed my pads at the same time.

I'll post a pic of my rotor later when I'm free.

I just installed a pair of vesrah brakes this weekend, so far I like them.
