wish i had a picture

Saw a gsxr 1k today at cycle gear when i stopped by to pick up some things.

Had a matt black dimpled truck bed liner paint job, pretty much head to toe. Only the lights were not painted for the most part. It was hideous.

Didn't see it until i was out of my truck and left my phone in my truck so i didn't get a picture. But then as i was checking out i saw the guy get on the bike.

Helmet, pink t shirt, shorts, boat shoes, but... he had strap on shin guards

words can not describe

as i walked past the bike in aw, i thought about walking back to my truck to get my phone to take a picture but then i know the guy is in the store potentially watching me so i felt a little awkward. Thought i might be able to get back to the truck and take a pic from truck as i was leaving but he got out of the store before me.

I've thought about doing that to my bike. Streetfighter concept, not supposed to be pretty.

If I wreck it and mess up the fairings, bedliner, here I come.

Is there a point to painting it with bedliner or is it just a "thing" to do? Cuz i can't imagine it looking pretty at all on a bike. Even a rattle can flat black i think would look 100 times better than bedliner.

It would hold up a hell of a lot better when you lay it down. I want to do it to a track bike. Now I just need a track bike. Or I need to wreck my bike so I can turn it into a track bike.

Related?

Yes, that bike is actually leaking fluids and yes the owner rides in regularly. Of course, the guy rides in bro-gear and doesn't have a clue how dangerous this thing is on the streets.

That's like the best anti-theft system ever. I'd be afraid to steal it!

I hate it when I want to capture something visually and am unprepared to do so. Those always seem to be the times I don't have a picture to take a camera.
