what music streaming site do you use?

Well what do you use?

The title should say service too. Cause it can be in the form of an app or their computer.

I used to do that to. Then I found internet radio.. never again. Also I have my entire 70 gig library loaded into my google music library. So I can listen to it anywhere I have a connection plus whatever else I want.

No, I frequently visit music blogs and sites, to see what's new and then I dl them and listen to them. It's fun to discover music like that, it's like a virtual "digging through the crates." I'm not a fan of radio of any kind because I don't like to be dictated on what I should listen to, whether it's commercial free or not. I pick music I listen to largely based on the mood I'm feeling at any given time. I have over 300GB of music and counting, so yeah, music is a really big deal with me.

yeah I dont have the time of money to buy or download all that music. Its easier for me to turn on a station find bands I like then listen to all their stuff. This is easy with spotify and google music both. I sometimes use the radio feature but you can search bands and find all of their music and have your pic of music. And again since they have a cloud server you can put up to 20,000 songs or something like that on your cloud storage. So now I have all my music plus music I dont own that I can access on any device at anytime as long as I have a data connection. I used to do exactly what you did but it got to tedious. Finding music has become a lot easier. I can thank Pandora for finding my favorite female vocalist right when she came out with her first EP, shoot she was still small enough she would talk to me on myspace some! (yeah it was a awhile ago lol) Now shes too big, but I still lover her and her music.

Yeah thats why its so much more than just music streaming and it is soo "2013" . some of these have taken away the need for a music storage device.

i use google music all access. i pay $8/mo (first month is free) sound quality is very high for all songs. selection is extremely good. even random one-off house singles that are not typically available elsewhere are actually on google play and in great quality. i'm not sure how they have such a good selection, frankly i dont care. the interface is very good and although i do have gripes with it, as an applications interface programmer most of my gripes are minor workflow concept issues. the interface is supperior to every other music system i've tried. spotify is the only real competition but it still falls short.

Yeah I have a few but I almost always have a data connection. So what I'll do it put just my playlists on my device.

Right I currently pay for it as well. The whole pin thing to add it to your device I find weird and confusing

I use both Google Music and Sony's Music Unlimited.

I'm an NOT one to listen to radio style music streams. I have about 2tb worth of music (worth noting that many are flac rips from CD.. so that data value is really REALLY bloated) that I usually just hit random on. Google Music is nice because almost every device I have (other than Vita) supports it so I don't have to lug around all my music or worry about which songs to transfer back and forth. The recent update removed my "shuffle all" button and the work around has a terrible shuffle feature.. but the instant playlist features are nice.

I only have Music Unlimited because I got a year subscription for $10. It works really well on my Vita and it comes in handy when new albums are released that I'm not sure if I'd want. For example, I'm a HUGE Megadeth fan, but their new single was terrible so I wasn't sure if I'd want to buy the CD. Music Unlimited had it day one, so I gave it a listen and decided I didn't want it. Right there, it saved me $12 so.. I think the sub is worth it. I'll probably renew it if I can get it again at a discounted rate.

oh. if you add it to your library, its in your library anywhere. so if you are on your phone and you listen to a song that is in your library, it gets cached on that device so its available offline.

wordpress/blogs + winamp = winning. Antiant gets it.

Once i get my car im just gonna buy a really cheap laptop/notebook of some sort with an external/wireless hdd that way i can have my entire library at all times and play any of my 60k songs i want through my car, all in a nice, readable format with the highest quality possible.

Just using 5th gen nano and 5th gen samsung mp3 player atm. @massacremasses arent you a fan of dub/electro and the rest of those EDM genres/subgenres?

How are the others better than Pandora? I've built up such a cool library of artists in Pandora that I wouldn't want to change.

Pretty surprised no one's mentioned di.fm yet.. (digitally imported). Awesome place if you're looking for electronica-type music to get through the workday.

Otherwise its basically looking for music by googling for it.

Using spotify more and more now that they're getting all the good labels to sign. I got turned off when it was in beta and they didn't have **** to listen to. Now I'm almost considering paying for it.

why spotify over google music? They seem to have the same at first but there is SOOO much electronic on google music. You can find so much good stuff. For me google has been a lot better of a selection. Or course you only get a month free, and then its like $7 a month. Worth it though. I listen to it about 10 hours a day. Plus having my own music library anywhere I want is nice. Of course with the unlimited that I have its generally not a big deal except when I want to listening to something obscure... but still usually google has it.

I most likely already know your argument. $7 a month is nothing to EASILY access all of the music i want on all of my stuff.

Plus having my own music library anywhere I want is nice. Of course with the unlimited that I have its generally not a big deal except when I want to listening to something obscure... but still usually google has it.
Because I don't pay for spotify. Even the free version of google music asks for my credit card info, and that **** doesn't fly with me.

Rdio. It's the only premium service that syncs across all my devices. The other services still need to get the licensing sorted out in Canada.
