[RideApart] - Video: How Not to Stick a Landing

Making a steady run on the camera man, a dirt bike rider sets up for a mid-air pass, but angles the bike towards the outside of the track, landing in the swamp. Ouch!

Rider known as TJ Rand, was practicing at the Miami Motocross Park, leaving a second jump after a right-hander, when he looks over to see another rider gaining on him. Going into the second jump that rider lands off track in the puddle-filled ditch on the edge of a swamp. Luckily, after the hard hit the rider was okay, just soaked in mud.

A YouTube user who claims to be the rider who crashed left a comment: “I’m all good. I jumped too far left and the landing tapered in and I just went for the ride.”
