There are often some ZZRs for sale on Kijiji. I got mine through Kijiji last year, for CDN $3000 with only 2K mi. on the odometer.

Different fairing, 3-spoke wheels, 17" rear tires, aluminum frame.

Mind you, the ZZRs are all in Canada, and the metering is in metric, i.e. kilometers. Latest model year - 2007.

No, the fairings are NOT interchangeable due to the different frame designs. Just a little clipping from wikipedia to share the differences. The American bikes are all either F model (pre-gen) or J model (new-gen). Your ZZR is in fact an H model.

EX250-H - This model came to Canada as the Ninja 250R between 2000 and 2002, after which it received a new name: ZZR-250, in line with the -H model's name elsewhere in the world, where it had existed since 1992. This motorcycle has few parts in common with the -F model, though it shares the same engine, albeit with different casings. It sports a lateral aluminum frame, a different fairing (designed to make it look sportier), larger 17" wheels, an adjustable rear shock absorber, adjustable brake and clutch levers, a smaller drive sprocket, computer-controlled timing advance, and a revised electrical system.

All of which would have been loved here in the States if they would have bothered to offer it to us........

thats my dirty bike on my last ride for the month! (leaving today for 3 weeks to go snowboarding in switzerland, yay )

went out and did 200 Km around the south coast of bali. wanted to cross over to the north, but it was raining everywhere towards the north, so i had to stick to the south side...

ended up being a decent ride, although i hardly found any twisties the picture i took was at the top of the only proper hill i crossed over. and note the word hill, cos it only takes like 8 minutes to ride over and out, lol

i guess its not so noticeable that the bike was filthy... all the better

Just wondering: how popular are ninjas in the Philippines? I know that in places like India, a 250 would be considered a big bike.

Its getting there mate, Right now we only have a few (maybe 10 ninjettes) because they only released the bike last September 09. But most probably this year (February is the official Launching of KAWASAKI new bikes) there will be more who will purchase the bike and yes most bikes here in the Philippines are Underbones and scooters like in India.

Looks good. How low did you drop your forks to? That in combination with the Woodcraft clip-ons must have what lowered your front stance 3 inches or so?

Looks great in yellow. Are those wheels painted or powder coated?

The wheels are paint . The bars are 10 inch below the stock bars.I put the clip ons under the top clamp. They are universal 37mm clip ons. I had to move everything out of the way.

RacerX, that red frame is very nice. Is that my monitor or is that bodywork the same color a prosthetic limb? Again, very nice bike pictures.

The color is a bit redder than the photo shows. For some reason .Maybe the flash it came out a pastel yellow in the photo. The color is the same formula as an 2009 Audi

Love it...not so sure about the neighbors though! It has a deep, "throaty" sound to it...sounds like a big bike now and was able to get a little more power out of it too
