Slip On Exhaust: DanMoto and HB Growler

Anyone has experience with both? Specifically the sound level and tone?

The DM mufflers all share the same core type...just a different package. I have a GP Carbon and it is loud and deep but not as loud as the MGP. I will say at that level of noise either are just plain loud.

I can't wait to see the Jisu, I was > < this close to getting one but at the last minute went with the carbon and my brother in law went with the the all steal GP on his F4i. I think dual GP cans would look killer on the RC but it must stay stock....

If you don't wear ear plugs with the growler installed you will go freaking deaf at highway speeds. It is piercing. Around town it's bearable and actually sounds pretty good.

Did you get the optional DM baffle with your exhaust and how much quieter is it compared to the MGP? (db? or on a scale from 1-10) Thanks!

No baffle in my DM. It is a bit quieter but I believe it is mostly the difference in length of the two that makes the difference in sound. No can would be a 10, HB a 8.5, DM a 7-7.5. Stock I would say 1-2, chapped is aroun a 4-5.
