Weird Fix it Ticket problem. California

Ok so I got a fixit ticket a few months ago because my headlights weren't working. Since then I got rid of everything that makes the bike street legal as I only ride on track. However I have a court day in May and naturally, can't prove that I fixed it.

It's still registered as operational for 2012 but I'll be registering it as non-op next time.

Sooooo. What do I do now? Is there a way to re-register before the end of registration year?

go to the BMV and re-register is as a non-op vehicle tomorrow? orrr take it on a trailer with you to your court date to show that it's a track-only bike; would that work?

You can switch to non-op anytime and that would be your proof. Once you have the non-op registration, you should be able to go the police department and pay a small fee for the proof of correction.

I use to sign the tickets off myself using a different area name/badge number.
Like if it was a sdpd ticket, I would sign cvpd...... or visa versa, never had any problems
