Slingshot racing levers review

A while back I bought some slingshot racing levers, so I figured I do a little review on them.

They are six way adjustable like most of the other levers on the market. I have had them for around 3-4 months and I ordered them through ztrack which is a member here. While they aren't as cheap as the ebay levers I feel they were worth it (at least it was cheaper than getting pazzos not as many finishes but cheaper at least). The finish is still like new after all this time and they also eliminate some of that wobbly free play the stock levers had. They also have a split in the lever to prevent breaking the lever in the event of a fall. The adjustment mechanism also seems to be holding up great with no signs of wear so far. They offer three colors silver, gold, and black; all with red adjusters. Overall I like them and its one more option for those who want levers.

The first pic below is at position 6 and the second at 1. Last is just a slightly different angle. So it has a pretty good range of adjustability.

Thumbs down

Well as a follow up, the red anodize coating is fading away and the clutch adjuster is really hard to move almost to the point that its stuck, not cool. Guess I'll try taking them apart and lubricating the parts

I periodically lube the adjustable levers. As for the anodizing when exposed to sunlight it will fade over time. I have seen it in a couple different applications in and out of the motorcycle world.

Yeah not to worried about the color, just was like wtf when I tried to adjust them yesterday. I'll lube them hopefully that will fix them up.
