GPZ500 ninja 250 build

Hello guys and gals

Sorry for not being on the forum for a while i have been in the process of saving up for all the parts for the build and i am close to being there.

As my old post states i am updating my gpz500 with ninja 250 parts. the first thing ordered to assist with the cosmetic styling was ninja 250 mirrors which ill fit asap
I had previously ordered a swing arm from a newgen 250 which is in fantastic condition. i then had to order an axle, spacers, gpz 500 rear brake hanger, chain adjusters, and some custom made spacers ( thanks to invsibil for the assistance ) for the swing arm pivot. This actually cost more than expected but it has all been delivered. so my old rusty swing arm will hopefully be replaced by this new swing arm.

The next task for me was my wheels, i have silver 3 spoke wheels which are out of date and i would prefer the 250 ones, however i needed a twin disc front end and after much head scratching and saving i managed to score a pair of er6 wheels and front forks, this will provide me with a 120 front and 150 rear and being my engine is similar dimensions to the 650 engine im hoping i will be able to center my chain and wheel with out too much trouble.

Because my gpz uses a mechanical speedo and the er6 wheel used digital i needed to figure out how to run a speedo, my solution ( acquired from somewhere ) is an acewell 3100 digital speedo mounted inside an original gpz dash which i ordered a spare so i don't ruin mine.

My next step which i need to save up for is a rs250 front end and getting my other gpz on the road so this one can be modified.

it will be along time yet but im sure ill get there eventually.

Thanks again guys and ill update you when it becomes interesting but at the minuet im poor and excited about the future of this project haha

a few thoughts are weather to keep my original front end or a rs250 usd conversion and input will be appreciated
