Question Wheel weight came off..

Dunno when it happened, but admiring my pretty bike today I noticed a big gap in the rim tape, then realized that gap is where the wheel weight/balance SHOULD be... Have no idea when/where/how/why it came off but I'm guessing it was at high speeds on the highway or something (hope it didn't hit anyones car...) Am I gonna be alright with an unbalanced rear wheel? Bike still rides fine, might be a TINY bit of wobble when cornering but thats probably just my imagination... Will be getting new rubber soon anyways so I don't want to pay for it to be rebalanced then have to go through that again if it won't negatively effect the bike. This sucks, my chain guard fell off on the highway (luckily my chain caught it and gouged the hell out of it, even more luckily it didn't stop my chain and lock the rear wheel!) Damn bikes falling apart wtf!
