DIY Brakelines

I want stainless steel braided brake lines, but buying them seems too easy and more money than needed. Here's a possible alternative:

I just sourced these parts
https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...p?Product=3260 - 3260-3-FOOT
https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...asp?RecID=4165

For two fittings and 2 feet of hose it's about $25 plus shipping to make a front brake line. That's half the price of the galfers!

It is/seems fairly easy to assemble as well.

If I do order them I'll let you guys know how it is; I still need to make sure the banjo bolts will work.

If anyone knows the size of the banjo bolt for these bikes to confirm this size (3/8in-10mm) would work that would be awesome.

i believe most the japanese bikes (at very least the big-4) use 10mm banjos. no idea on depth of the banjo, or thread pitch for the bolt itself, but i guess you should be able to use stock bolts as long as the banjos are the same height?

I use the same parts all the time on the drag cars I build. They will work fine. Just follow the assembly instructions and you will be all set.

I purchased a whole kit from the guys above, very good quality, and for the price, I am happy.

note the kit was not for a Ninja, but for a project bike I am working on

new banjo bolts and crush washers are included in the purchase as well, or reuse your banjo bolts, but make sure you use NEW crush washers...
