I destroyed one of these on the track last weekend. The rider was apparently trying to make up for lack of skill with an exotic bike.

I think they're ugly. That undertail just makes the whole tail look thick

Compare it to the Panigale, S1000RR, or the RSV4. The F4 looks kinda meh. It doesn't work for me.

The factory exhaust is ugly. The tail looks just fine with aftermarket pipes.

But that factory exhaust is a big fat ugly thing that makes the whole back look thick.

The S1000RR is very meh looking up front too,

RSV4 is a good looking machine as is the Panigale, but the rear of the MV is spectacular

no, the S1000RR looks fantastic. It's the only bike to use asymmetry.

The exhaust on the MV is horrible. It makes a slender and otherwise nice rear end into a fat, thick, blocky thing.

I like the exhaust, it reminds me of a pipe organ.

Anything without twin pipes is asymmetrical, the S1000RR is cockeyed.

I saw it's concept machine, which was unreal, mind you it's front looked like a spartan helmet & wasn't cockeyed

...we were talking about the front end of the bimmer, why are you bringing exhaust pipes into this? The asymmetrical front end makes it look wild. The sides are also not mirrors of each other. I like that.

The F4? Meh. It's nearly the same bodywork it was introduced with. It still has pillars up the sides of the windscreen. The exhaust ruins the slim tail. The nose is too high. The whole section behind the front wheel is all square. It doesn't look athletic and nimble to me.

I just don't see it.

There's a reason it's the only bike that does that :P

The bike as a whole on either side looks amazing, but when you see it clash in the front well, just personal opinion I guess.

Suppose it makes for a more interesting style. Depending on what side you approach/get on the bike from, it's like a different bike each time.

A picture I found on another forum...

At the IMS @Havok and I asked a BMW rep why the S1000rr was so awesome yet so ugly and he explained....everything. The circular high beam presents a wider field of view for the light and provides more lighting area. The differing vents on the side offer an inlet area and another that, in few words, creates back pressure allowing for more effective and rapid engine cooling.

Suddenly the bike was massively sexy to me.

I think the cockeyed look makes the bike look wild. It's like that one friend everyone has who says that all great ideas start as bad ones, or the only way to tell if a hill is too steep is to race down it etc etc.

leave it to the Germans to over-engineer everything. It's a beautiful bike when you realize everything is there for a purpose. I don't see why everyone thinks they're so ugly.

I know a guy who owns an 06 MV Agusta F4 1000 R and a BMW S1000RR, and some other crazy awesome bikes. He rides the BMW much more than the MV. Just saying. In fact, he had it sitting at a local dealership for months and nobody was interested.

I think the BMW S1000RR is one of the sexiest liter bikes ever made.

But I do like the MV's styling as well.

I love the older F4's ass.

@choneofakind you are crazy if you disagree.

For me here is some damn sexy goodness

No no, that one I like. The new one that has one giant muffler is ugly and blocky and thick.

Look at the difference between the one you posted:

and the new one:

Rather a step backwards in my opinion. Look how blocky and thick and... plasticy the new one is.

@choneofakind I know the difference which is why I said I loved the older F4's exhaust. I was just messing with ya. The new one is definitely not as sexy but it's still cool looking.

I don't like the front of the MV though. Reminds me of that ugly gixxer front end. Yuck!

Anywho, this thread needs a pic of a really, really sexy bike!!

The F4 is a beautiful bike for sure, as is the RSV4 and 1199. The S1000RR to me is amazing in its functionality; doesn't inspire beauty in the traditional sense but in a very purposeful sense.

The 848/1098/1198 were also beautiful bikes (I really like the new 848 EVO Corse) but that new 675 Brit does nothing for me lol. The older version was stunning.

ugly cyclops eye...none of the new Euro bikes really do it for me...

S1000rr: cockey eyed SOB
RSV4: 3 eyed mutant with a little ass
Pangiale: Little thin pointed down eyes...1198/1098 looked way better

The new CBR600rr looks gay as well, as does the new Daytona 675. The older models were way better.

I'll stick with the ZX10 Ninja and CBR1000rr. Ninja is a mean looking don't **** with me type of SOB while the CBR is a real pretty foxy bitch...

Exactly how does a motorcycle look homosexual or merry/cheerful?

A Miata on the other hand, looks very cheerful.

I think the 13 CBR600RR looks purty good actually. Better than the previous model at least.

I agree that the new Daytona 675 got less sexy.

But all those bikes above look 10x sexier than any Ninja 250. Haha.

O_O I didn't know there was a new CBR600RR. I AM IN LOVE WITH THE LOOK OF THAT BIKE The squarish headlights seem somewhat reminiscent of the classic 80s/90s sport bike look while still being modern... I just really like it. I'm in love. I think I just fell in love with a motorcycle.

Also anyone notice the tail on it is almost identical to the first gen 600rr? and basically every generation 600rr since... the side fairings are really similar too lol. But the front end... they nailed it. I'm going to own one, sorry 636

I wouldn't agree with ugly, but the undertail is a bit much. I do love the single sided swing arm though.

For some reason the front of that CBR reminds me of Alien,

2013 Daytona was a step back alright, the 2012 was a cracker & I'd take one tomorrow if I could.
