"Carbset from the Black Lagoon"

inspired by the old sci-fi movie "Creature from the Black Lagoon" (note the black deposits in float bowls and on main jets and emulsion tubes)

was able to save these '06 carbs from the scrap heap

before & after, fully operational now

Looking good! I had a set that looked like that too, had sat for some time. The cylinder walls also had rust pits in them.
