Damn! She sure does! That's a tough road to ride! I can't tell what she's riding, can you?

All you need is a place like this, Akima.

Me either. It looks bad-ass though! I think she's blacked it out. If you buy a bike in black there will still be the odd bits of colour & silver etc. It's amazing how much better a bike can look when you black those bits out. I think I heard rojoracing say he was doing that to his ninjette.

That road screams ninja 250. I didn't realize the infamous dragon was so tight. Good on the lady for representing. I don't know any women who ride fast in the street. Notice how I didn't say track.

http://www.tailofthedragon.com/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deals_Gap,_North_Carolina "The 11-mile stretch of the Dragon in Tennessee is said to have 318 curves. Some of the Dragon's sharpest curves have names like Copperhead Corner, Hog Pen Bend, Wheelie Hell, Shade Tree Corner, Mud Corner, Sunset Corner, Gravity Cavity, Beginner's End, and Brake or Bust Bend. The road earned its name from its curves being said to resemble a dragon's tail. The speed limit on the Dragon was 55 mph (89 km/h) prior to 1992; it was reduced to 30 mph (48 km/h) in 2005. The presence of law enforcement on the Tennessee portion has dramatically increased in 2007, 2008 and 2009."

You, me and lots of other people.
Shameless plug time. NOLA Motorsports is hosting a smallish bike day on their small track. Super Motards, Mini's and Ninjette sized bikes on July 28th. $5 at the gate and $50 for 8-2 with tech starting at 7. If you want more info shoot me a message.

I was trying to figure that out too. You can catch a glimpse of the fairing and exhaust as she leaves our protagonist in the dust, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...WCgcXH9A#t=10s
I'm thinking gixxer, from the cut of the fairing. But the upsweep of the exhaust is different. Whatever it is, she OWNS it. |

I still don't understand the amazement and wonder that happens when men see a woman that can ride a motorcycle. What is this? 1950? Just a PSA: Riding skills have nothing to do with your gender.
I've never ridden the dragon, and don't mind if I never do. Every video I've seen, and every person I've talked to that has ridden it has made it seem like an over-crowded 30mph waste of time. Most say that it isn't even worth the ride on a weekend since it is full of tourists, slow guys on bikes and cops. |

The Dragon is worth it, especially on a week day. Take it easy the first time and find where the 1 or 2 cops are parked and then go at it.
