What did you do with your day today?

My wife left me sleep in, which is a rarity. Not rare that she lets me, rare that I actually do. I must have been exhausted, because I slept over 10 hours.

So my wife woke me up and we rode our bicycles to Denny's near by. After that we went to Home Depot.

We got a lamp, a board so I can mount my fishing poles, and some other goodies that went in my side bag. I attached the photo my wife took when we were riding back home.

I also correctly set my brace height on my bow (was at around 6", now it is @ 7.5" (spec is 7.5-8").

Tonight we are going to Perry's Steakhouse for dinner. Looking forward to a tasty steak.

I took a 7 mile bicycle ride. I know that's not a lot but it is for me.

Woke up before work this morning and went for a 20 mi bike ride. I need to do it more often, it's so quiet and peaceful in the morning, I love it.

I like it when I can get out on the bicycle before the sun rises. Hardly any traffic, very quiet, just peaceful.

Just finished breakfast about 30 minutes ago.

3 scrambled eggs, a bell pepper, 1 cup of oatmeal and a banana.

Now I'm watching Game of Thrones.

What a life.

I was going to ask how it took six hours, then I saw "van". Once I saw that, it all made sense.

2 hours of it was spent at the parts shop finding a coil and plug wire combo that would properly fit (plug caps would not properly snap into the coil towers). Seems to be a common problem with older Fords. Runs like a dream now. Time to go riding!

Just lots of work. I'm about to get off in 40 minutes, and go to happy nails and get a nice pedi!

12 hours at work, not including commuting. Home to do chores. Now I have to settle down and learn a bunch of songs for my second band, which I only joined two weeks ago and has a gig in only a week and a half. (That means learning 30-40 songs well enough to play professionally from a standing start… good thing it's mostly easy, crappy hair band and arena rock stuff. I have a whole new appreciation for how truly, deeply crappy KISS is.)

Tomorrow… more of the same, plus practice for my primary band's next gig on Saturday.

I have less than zero time to call my own these days.

Well since we don't know what path the tropical storm is taking, I had to pick up all the items around the yard and put them up. Then I made 14 quarts, 2 pints, and 1 half pint of pear preserves.

hmmmm like a 4 bar intro, repeat 1 measure like 20 times, 1-2 measure pre-chorus, then a chorus lick, then back to repeat 1, repeat chorus, repeat 1, then a bridge, back to chorus and then the finale?
