What are the thickest grips?
Can anybody provide input on the thickest grips? I have relatively large hands and the stock grips are wayyyyy too small. I've even tried progrips 719 and they're about the same size.
I'm considering trying out Progrips 842 cruiser grips. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...iser-Grip.aspx

The Driven D3s are pretty thick.. Not sure how they compare to those or the others you've tried.
My suggestion would be to somehow mod your bars to accept 1" grips or something.

Bikemaster http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...WT.ac=SLI_SERP makes some foam grips which are thick and cushy, but I felt they were too thick with winter gloves. So I stuck with the Pro-gel grips.

I don't actually have a solution... just a statement. I personally don't actually grip all the way around the grips... I usually just rest my hands on the bars. Even the throttle I don't wrap my hand completely around.
So here's my question... is it a problem of firmly gripping the grips? Also, how long do you typically try to do that?

Thanks for the tip though. All riders should conciously keep in mind to use loose grips but my issue is truely the size. The reason why I dont like grip puppies is because it is very insulating for my heated grips and so I think if it was thicker but not "grip puppies + stock grip" thick, I might have a good middle ground.
