That's a nice list of mods! I've used the silverstars and ultrastars on other bikes, and they do provide a noticeable improvement in brightness. But, they are shorter-lived than "standard" bulbs. The bulb is easy to replace on the ninjette, so it's not as big an issue compared to bikes where getting to the bulbs requires fairing removal or tiny hands (or both).

Done:
Asian Cycle flush mount turn signals
Empty slots converted to rear turn signals....I think this is also Asian Cycle
Digital watch mounted
GPS mount zip tied to triple tree
Pirelli Sport Demon tires
Nelson Riggs saddle bags just put on today (but they're coming off after I go camping this weekend...so does the GSP mount)

To Do:
I would love to learn how to make a custom helmet lock.

Considered getting rear sets and clip ons and stiffening the springs in the front forks, but decided against it because this is my easy going couch bike.

I used about 16" 1/4" steel cable (w/ vinyl coating), similar to a bicycle cable lock. It had a loop crimped on one end, so I just made another loop on the other end. To do so, I just crimped on a copper barrel with a vise/hammer. Covered barrel with vinyl tape to keep it from scratching paint when installed.

Locked one loop to existing helmet lock and locked the other through the chin strap with a small combo lock. Strapped helmet to seat with a web bungee.

Pretty secure and only paid for the lock which was about $3.
Gotta love inexpensive solutions!

Do you have any pictures of it? I'm a visual learner.

Here is the lock cable. Sorry for the low quality pictures, had to use my phone's camera.

One end has the copper ring terminal soldered on. The other has a loop crimped. The loop attaches to helmet strap via combo lock. The copper ring gets locked into the helmet lock under seat. Then just bungee helmet in place. Seems to work pretty well.
