CA DMV titled my 300 as a 2012 model
So my title and my registration say "2012 Ninja 300". Ugh. The 10th letter in the VIN denotes year, and as it's a "D" in mine, that is unequivocably a 2013 model year vehicle.
I can't fix this myself at the DMV; need to get back to the dealer and have them submit a correction. Annoying, but better to find out now instead of years from now when I go to sell the bike.

Yeowch. I better double check my title too, my registration lists it as a model year 2013 purchased in 2012. Another trouble I had (but self correctable) as that my insurance was unable to match the VIN to the model for a while, evidently they were using Ninja 300 as the model which was too generic

the dealer did the paperwork right? tell them you want $1500 off that s1000rr in the window for the hassle they caused
