fox on road...

While riding a fox jumped in front of me. Speed was about 50 km/h. Luckily for me it hitted front wheel with head and I managed to rode over it w/o faling.

Now i need some advice which bike parts should i check. Forks are ok (not curved) and so is front wheel.
Is there any other part to look at?

Unfortunately little buddy did not survived the impact

So you didn't crash?

Probably no need to worry about the bike unless you start to hear weird noises. Check to make sure nothing is loose.

I think you checked everything I would think could get hurt, but I'm sure someone else will pipe in if I'm wrong.
I'd think hitting a pothole speedbump or curb at that speed be alot worse then something that squishes.
PS- this isn't a crash report, so wrong section, grats on keeping it up!!

Check the front mudguard, the bottom of the fairing & the radiator, depending on how intact the fox was after the crash you may need to clean them down & see if there is any cosmetic damage there.

I think foxes (and FOXES!) are attracted to Ninjettes! I was riding 2 weeks ago and a baby fox came out running on the side of the road after me. Reminded me of a dog running after a postman! lol

This is for those coming into this misleadingly titled thread expecting to see something else.
