I had Two Brothers slipons, I now have a Muzzy. If you're looking for dB level, get Two Brothers slip-ons. If you're looking for performance, get a Muzzy. The Muzzy is quieter than Two Brothers slipons.

Your other option is to just buy the Muzzy header on ebay or something, and then get a DanMoto can and attach that. It will be obnoxiously loud.

Here is a brand new system for under $400. That's not bad, considering just slip-ons are typically around 300, and the Muzzy full system is better than any slip-on. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Muzzys-R...f07052&vxp=mtr

There are occasional sales on ebay, but they get bought quickly. I was literally all over my computer when I bought mine. I knew when the auction was ending, and I got on it. The bids went up quickly. You might just be better off buying it new and not worrying about it.

There is also a thread about a GB on the 2-1 Area P system for the pre-gen. Kerry stopped making them, but has said if they can get enough people, he'll do a small run of them. It might be worth your time to check into that.

chone, did you have to cut your lower fairing to prevent melting?

I'm trying to decide between slip-ons and a full exhaust and right now i'm not sure if I want to get rid of the main stand and cut the fairing.

surprisingly, no I haven't. There was that warning about melting the fairing on the ninja250 wiki.

Muzzy redesigned the system at some point. I guess the second design was better and doesn't melt the fairing?

Got a custom one made from chopping the stock header pipes, and welded up to a chrome cherry bomb..... ?

One of my friend's recently lost her bike to a dead engine (something about engine compression going way down?) and she might have a muzzy going up for sale soon.

I'll check with her and see if she's willing to sell it online/ wants to part with it.

I'm not promising anything though.

How loud is that thing? What's your jetting look like with it installed? How's it perform?

It's way louder than stock, but not as loud as the original F1s. The can is a glass pack and with a 2.5" inlet/oulet has a throaty sound. I jetted up 2 and ran pod filters on it. Not as torquey at bottom end but seemed to spin up faster and pulled longer up the top end. Never put it on a meter.
