Can't Wide Open Throttle

Cant go full throttle! No idea why yet... Ive already replaced my entire carb with one off of a 2012 with very little miles. Put in a washer on each needle. Starts up wonderfully and will redline like cake but only if i dont turn the throttle too much. If i open it up all the way it starts slowing down instead of accelerating. Ive got a K & N filter and stock jetting/fuel mixture aside from the one washer.

Any ideas?

Your mix is lean at WOT.

Did you clean the new carburetor?

Did you check the condition of the diaphragms and free movement of both needles?

the carb probably isn't seated correctly and is leaking a little air around the boot

Also! Make sure your fuel lines are connected to the right part of the petcock. We had that issue before.

Is the K&N a pod filter or drop in?

Drop in airfilter.

Its weird because my bike had this same issue with the previous carb
(Not being able to go WOT).

It will however hit redline if i do not open it too far.

Take it the washer out answer all those questions and suggestions that everyone suggested.. Perhaps your snorkel is clogged?

Something as small and simple as an ear plug or gummy bear (no joke) can plug up a snorkel and cause your issue. It can get there if you put something under the seat and it falls down.
You may want to add another washer and take out the snorkel for a little extra umph! (since you got the K&N, make sure it is sealed good ) Always make sure the bike is properly warmed before cranking on the throttle.

I've had exactly this experience on another ninjette. Make sure a) your carb boots are firmly attached to the carbs and not leaking and b) your snorkel isn't blocked
