Have a laugh on me ...

Well, I haven't been able to ride the Ninja for over a week or two, what with going on a short holiday, (sorry - vacation!), then, having a skip delivered on to my driveway. Don't know what you call them in the States, big metal thing that you can put soil, rubble etc into when you do building work.
Anyway, the lorry, (oops, sorry again - TRUCK) driver put it just a bit too far up the drive, leaving a gap between the skip and the wall that was a couple of inches narrower than the GPX - DAMN!
So tonight, wanting to use the bike in the morning to take my daughter to her new job, I decided to be clever.
I put a few bricks on the ground, with a plank of wood on top, to lift the bike clear of both wall and skip.
Great idea, got the front half of the bike through by a paint thickness !
But, the extra height lifted the ex pipes into the wrong place, and I had to call out for my daughter to come and help, whilst she held the bike on the front brake lever, I had to bodily lift the GPX up, and pull my makeshift ramp out from under.
Ex pipes made it out with just a tiny scratch, but, then the indicators caught Nothing else for it, I had to lift the whole damn bike up to squeeze it out.
Felt a right fool, and before you ask, NO, I didn't take pictures .......
Off to bed now to rest a very sore back ..........

Skip = Dumpster

Wow, only if you had a camcorder set up. Glad to hear you and the bike only suffered minor damage. So after all that did you get to ride the bike?

NO !

Got up this morning at 6, my daughter got ready for work, we jumped on the bike, I thumbed the starter, and the electrical issue I had a while back reared it's head. All electrics fine except the starter, we tried to bump it, but not enough coffee methinks, gave up and jumped in the car. We got to the bus stop just in time to see the bus flash past 4 minutes early, I had to drive her all the way. DAMN, I'm gonna give the bus company some stick when the office opens a little later this morning.

That size is mandatory, it's even recently become part of the annual MoT (Ministry of Transport) test that all vehicles over three years old have to pass.
Not pretty I agree
