Bad accident

Riding season is about to kick off. Today in my town we had a log truck run a red light and T-bone a pickup which was first off his (new) green light. The driver of the pickup which was so eager to jump out there was killed.

Another log truck ran a red light in front of me at 530 in the morning... I mean blatantly ran the red... by like 3 or 4 seconds.

Guys and girls, please take a moment to look left when your light turns green.

Please do this every time.

You'll be better off looking right and left twice (at every intersection).

When I went to school to get my class A license, I was following the lead instructor from one location to another, (don't think he realized he had anyone following him) and watched him run three red lights in a row. They were spaced out over about a quarter mile, and all turned red at the same time, he just barely ran the one, the others were obviously red for awhile. Didn't even slow down.

Yeah, pay attention.

I imagine he was trying to say the pickup truck launched from the green light. I get the mental image of a drag race when the signal finally turns green. The truck failed to look left to see a semi running the red, and so the pickup was hit.
