We use a Ready Ramp, and an ice cooler to step on. We also bolt up a Baxley chock in the bed, then use Canyon dancers & rite ties.

When loading up my bike; the ramp I use is too short so we back the truck up to the hill in front of our house and load it on with the ramp horizontal; ride it in and use tie-downs to keep it stable while driving.

Haha you know I watched that video and right away I knew what was gonna happen...I still laughed when he rear ended the pickup lol. I have loaded plenty of dirt bikes in trucks but they are somewhat light and usually we had 2+ people to help....

+1 to all of the above. The ready ramp is expensive, but an awesome product. Use it as a ramp and then it up to make a bed extender!

Baxley chock means you just roll right in and it stay vertical while you tie it down!

Makes it a one man operation!

I just back my truck up to the drive way entrance (so the tail gate will be lower, no need for step stool) and use my dirt bike ramp. Then tie both ends down. I like to use the nylon straps for the handle bars so the tie down hooks don't scratch the paint.

Cause it seems like a good ideal at the time haha...I have seen people do it. or even worse ride up or even worse then that lol a person I knew was loading a dirtbike well he couldnt push it up and didnt want to get the running start so he started the bike put it in gear and stood to the side letting out the clutch and the bike was suppose to slowly ride up under its own power...worked great until he lost his grip sliped let go of the clutch and rolled on the throttle...bike ran up and over his truck lol broke front and rear window not to mention all the fairings and such on his bike...I laughed it was funny. he didnt think so

I've seen it at the track where the bike won't start...

It always freaks me out when I see people loading their bike and NOT strapping down the ramp to the vehicle.
