Another West Coast Trip

And not for fun... One day I will be able to make this journey within the bounds of PTO and funds. It will be for fun...

This time around it is, alas, for another loss. It has been one hectic year for me, one of my worst ever. I wouldn't even wish this year on my worst enemy.. Not that I have one.

So back in June we lost my Father In Law, September my Mother and now in November my Sister.

This of course was the sister I always talked to on my way home. I needed an ear and all that and she'd be there. She passed away due to complications with a blood clot. Aka a heart attack. She would have been 38 years old on 12/2. Married to a great man, has a great son and awesome daugther. The follow up to the tragedy is that she passed on her daughters 18th birthday. Roughly 2 months after my mother passed.

So once again I make the eight hour journey to the other side to be with my family.

I am starting to think that life will never return to 'normal'. I have always expected change, and I never thought my life was normal but it was normalish for me. I'd like it to be close to that again. It will take some adjusting that is for certain.

I am babbling so... I am just going to go.. Just thought I'd share.
