ContourROAM deal
I'm posting here so that more people will be able to see. If you're interested, Amazon has a lightning deal for the ContourROAM with watersport kit. It's $100. I bought this at $163 several months ago, camera only. So definitely looks like a good deal. It's a great camera, and an even better one at that price. There's a little over 2 hours left for this deal.
FWIW I think the sale price is due to the new contour that came out? Still though, great deal imo. Happy holidays! Here's the link edit: Sorry about that Alex :/ |

I got my contour roam last year on amazon for $87 with free one day shipping.
Your deal is unimpressive

Let's just say the watersport kit is $13
Actually, it's listed at $40 on their website |

Jiggles...how would you rate this? Compared to the GoPro.

IMO, it's easier to use in almost every way but the video quality is no where near as good as the new GoPro, but that's not to say it's bad.
Get the contour roam if you want a cheapish easy to use full HD camera for recording your commutes, get the GoPro if you must have the very best quality. |

The first gen gopro is better than the contour roam. More waterproof, easier to mount, better video quality, more durable, I wouldn't buy another one over a gopro. But then again, mine was $87 new, that's a damn good deal.
IMO, find a used gopro if you're tight on money
