Buying a track bike from canada?
So crashed the 250 and guessing it might cost 800$ for fairings, rear set pieces, brake lever. Was about to order parts but stumbled upon a good deal for a used 2015 RC 390 500mi in canada! Has anyone brought a bike across the border? this will be a track bike only

Don't do it, send me the link to the 390 instead .
I have never brought a bike from the US to Canada (or reverse) but know a local dealer who used to do it all the time. I wish I had more info for you. I hope others can help.

Did you ever find an answer? I just spotted a used track bike in canada that I'm interested in.
The US customs service website info is geared towards street bikes... need to be DOT compliant, etc.

Importing a track bike
Google border brokers and phone one of them. Explain it will be for racing/track only and will not be registered for public roads. They can tell you what you need to know.
Right now everything is 25%-30% off! |
