WSMC Ninja Cup racer hospitalized

Unfortunately, I have to report that another of our members has gone down at the track. Lisa, Cyclecat650, went down hard yesterday in high speed turn 8 during the Ninja Cup race at Willow Springs. She was helo'd out to a hospital, I believe in Bakersfield. I don't have any details on her condition, but have heard some good news second-hand, but have been unable to verify. Everyone please keep her in your thoughts.

Update: Lisa is still in the hospital, and recovering from a very severe concussion. She has some effects of swelling, such as disorientation, amnesia, etc. Other injuries are fairly minor. There is still concern, obviously, but she seems to be on the road to recovery.

Well that's good to hear! Thankfully it isn't too serious. No broken bones? I hope she's home and posting again soon!

She is still in a neuro unit in recovery. I'm a bit unclear on her condition still, sorry. As for what happened on track, I really don't know that, either. She went off the track in high speed turn 8 on the first lap in a busy pack. That's about all I know

Wow didn't realize she is still in the hospital. Does anyone know how Broom went down? I know riding is a dynamic event and every situation is different. Just wondering though as maybe it will help someone else.

Will keep the prayers coming for Becky, Jon and Lisa. We pray that the casualty list does not get bigger.
