I normally wouldn't post this but this ride is in honor of a local deputy who was an avid motorcyclist. He was killed in the line of duty by a driver who is facing several charges including DUI, suspended license, no insurance, vehicular homicide, etc. Sgt. May was stopped in the interstate median and the driver hit him head on. This ride is to raise money for a scholarship fund.

The 1st Annual Sgt. Michael Todd May Memorial Poker Run will be held on August 18, 2012 in Morgantown, WV. The purpose of the event is to raise money for the Michael Todd May Memorial Scholarship Fund. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND! Registration for the ride will be from 10:00 am to noon at Triple S Harley Davidson. The cost is $25.00 per rider and $10.00 per passenger. The ride will start from Triple S Harley Davidson with a "mass take-off" and will proceed through Grafton, Fairmont, Mannington, Wadestown, and will end at Mylan Park, in Morgantown, where there will be llive music and more! The last bike must arrive at Mylan Park by 5:00 pm to qualify for the cash prizes. First prize for the best poker hand will be $1000.00 and the second best hand will win $500.00. The 124th bike to register will ride for free! This event is open to the public and we encourage those who don't own or ride a bike to join us at Mylan Park at the conslusion of the ride to enjoy the live music and to help us honor our friend, brother and true hero...."All Day Todd May"
