I ordered my colored matched bike bolts from there. They shipped pretty quickly and are very reliable. I know other members have purchased from them as well.

O really now?

I ordered my pack on the 16th, through PayPal, payment cleared on the 16th

Then on the 22nd I noticed it still said pending, sent them an email and they told me that they would be processing it and shipping it ASAP.

It is now the 27th and it is still processing. I REALLY needed those bolts for my 250 yesterday.

I'm getting ticked off to say the least. The only reason I ordered from this company is for all of the positive reviews, doesn't look so great to me so far.

Sorry you had a bad experience with them. Only thing I can think of is maybe the holidays delayed things. If you're unhappy, you can always file a dispute with paypal and get your money refunded.

I'm hoping they answer my recent email. I would really like to have the bolt set. I really need those rubber nuts for the windscreen. Dealer wants to charge 2.50 per nut.

I've ordered from them before. No issues. They may be closed during the holidays, in addition to being closed on Monday and Tuesday every week.

Update as of 1/3/2011

No email back from Bike Bolts, no shipping conformation, still just says processing on the BikeBolts website. Funny thing is payment is cleared, never had any problems with that.

As far as the holidays go, they said they had received payment on 12/22/2010, (which is incorrect but whatever), why didn't they just process my shipment out that day, instead of making me wait another week?

I have included the 1st email reply and my current order status on the website as of 3:30pm CST 1/3/2011

EDIT: PayPal Dispute has been filed now also

Did you notice that they aren't open on Mondays and Tuesdays (the previous poster said the same thing)? You could also try calling them on Wednesday and see what is going on.

Yea I noticed that.

I actually received a reply from them on 12/23/2010 Thursday. Sent them 2 different emails on 12/28/2010 and 12/29/2010, no response. Called their number yesterday, no response.

Point is, they sent me an email on the 23rd stating they would process it through and ship it. They had ample amount of time to process and ship my order since then.

After reading all of the positive comments on this forum and a few other, I really had a great feeling about this company...

Figured that I should also note that many small businesses are closed between Christmas and New Years. Heck even where I work was officially closed from Dec 24th until today. I tend to be understanding with businesses I guess I'm too nice.

Good luck with getting your order situated

I rarely buy online from Xmas to new years. Their operating hours are too stable for quick shipping and processing.

did you get this worked out? I placed an order with them on Monday and didn't hear from them. I used their online contact form and gave them my order details yesterday. They got them shipped yesterday. I think they might have had a hiccup in their system and didn't see my order placed. If you can't reach them by phone, try their online form.

I called them twice, no answer. Emailed them a total of 4 times now, still no answer. I ended up submitting a pay-pal claim for a refund, still no word on that. But for SOME reason yesterday the order came in the mail, wrong color bolts of course. So hopefully I get my money back and some free bolts.

EDIT: Just checked Pay-Pal Dispute, nothing has changed, but the BikeBolts Website has changed the status of my order

Status History & Comments

Date Order Status
12/16/2010 Pending

12/16/2010 Pending Transaction ID: 0C680490A91119229
Payment Type: PayPal Express Checkout (echeck)
Timestamp: 2010-12-17T02:46:21Z
Payment Status: Pending (echeck)
Amount: 43.17 USD

12/22/2010 Processing PayPal status: Completed @ 18:46:21 Dec 16, 2010 PST

01/03/2011 Pending PayPal status: Reversed @ 15:52:37 Jan 03, 2011 PST

So maybe I'll be getting my money back...

I ordered bolts from there today! Angel was awesome she helped out perfectly with what I needed and they actually shipped my order out today too with the bolts being powdercoated black too! There truly must have been a hiccup on your order... I also gave them a call to order rather than order online since i wanted them ASAP

Ended up getting my bolts and money back. Bolts were the wrong color though.

I think you were just extremely unlucky with your order. I placed an order and received my bolts in a couple days and they were the right color. You're the only person that I've heard about having any complaints about the company.

Another option you can try is Pro-Bolt:

http://www.probolt-usa.com/Products/000100080049

I just wish they offered green as an option... if they did they would have already received my business!

Angry Trouble

Okay, I know this thread is old. But I just ordered my first order with bikebolts.com LAST Monday and paid for the 2-3 day shipping. A week later I haven't seen anything. I called and no answer, I emailed FOUR times and finally was told they were running behind, would ship my order that day priority and would receive a tracking number once shipped. It's been another week and no mail, no tracking number and they will not return my emails. And I still can not get them to answer the phone. Who has called and actually got a working number and talked to someone? I'm out of patience at this point.

Pinged Bike Bolts this morning, just to see if he's in business. Everything on the website looks several years old.

Looking for a bolt kit for my 2004. Pro bolts doesn't list my bike.

If you don't mind taking the time to go through a parts diagram for all the bolts you want, you could also order all the bolts individually off Pro-Bolt. Usually the parts diagrams online have the bolt sizes although you may need to inspect the bolts on the bike itself to determine which type of bolt you want.

Your looking for GPX250 88~96, it's the same as PreGen Ninjette 88~07
