Anyone involved in Kiva.org?
I have been involved with Kiva.org for a few years now. It is a great way to help people wanting to help themselves through individual loans.
I get my kids involved by letting them determine who to lend to. Just posting this up because a lot of people don't know about this organization. You can get involved with as little as $25 and can keep lending as each loan is repaid. Take the time and visit www.kiva.org |

I put $200 in back in March 2008, it's been recycled up to $3200 now...
I mostly invest in Asian/Indonesian rickshaw/motorcycle/moped small businesses. Few deadbeats never paid back... all of them male borrowers.. female borrowers tend to get their money returned quicker. |

Good for you guys!
I think the gift certificates make great Christmas gifts for those hard to buy for people. My kids love Kiva and my daughter has even started a kiva club at her school. |
