bought 2003 250 in aug. 08 with 1,500 mi.
last weekend i believe i rolled over 3,000, so whats that...
300mi. per month average?

Unfortunately the weather has been crappy or it'd be alot more. I put almost 70,000 miles on my car per year. Hopefully that will be my bike from now on.

I've averaged 10k miles per year on my car since I got it a little less than 5 years ago. I couldnt imagine driving 7x as much!

Oh and if you averaged about 50mph (which is probably too high), you would spend almost 60 days in your car a year! It comes out to be about 4 hours a day. You better be driving on some fun roads!

I did have to replace my engine recently, at around 38k miles as it had some problems probably due to abuse by the p.o.'s, but this new/used 5k mile engine seems to be running pretty good. I hope to have it for quite some time & many more miles.

Only problem has been the clutch cable which broke off where it connects at the bottom end (the actual cable did not snap). It happened at around 5000 miles, but was covered under warranty and replaced free of charge at my dealer.
