I think I may have overdone it. Never expected to do that much. I may retrofit the headlights if I get time to draw up some CAD for a base plate (I'll share if you want). Gonna mill a brake bracket for the rear to make the hugger really secure.

Understandable. Mine is in the garage all winter, so I try and get as much of my work done as I can then. Obviously jetting is what has to wait till I can actually ride in warmer temps...

De-snorkeling makes the exhaust and intake sound more throaty, and pulls a little harder up top. The shimming makes the mid range smoother.

btw, taking off the snorkel should take about 5 minutes, and my fastest ever shim-job was like 10 I'm trying to convince my buddy to remove his snorkel, except then my bike wouldn't be faster...

All done on a budget

  1. Blacked out factory shield + can of black spray paint to underside.
  2. Reflective wheel stripping +
  3. Front LED flush mount signals +
  4. Rear LED signals + for LED's also need 2 resistors from
  5. Reflective Ninja fairing decals +
  6. D/C plug with cap to recharge phone +
  7. Security Alarm w/ remote start + (still trying to get the remote start to work, open to suggestions)
  8. LED valve stem lights +

mods!!

Just curious what kind of mods you guys have on your ninjas. I bet there are some neat ones out there!

Here’s what I have on my Ninja 250:
  1. HID kit (6000k iceberg blue)
  2. Custom tankpad designed by me so its one of a kind!
  3. Danmoto Carbon fiber motogp exhaust
  4. Some stickers (monster energy under the tail, alpinestars on rightside mirror
  5. Black windshield (did it myself)

That’s about it. Soon to add after market levers and steel braided brake lines.

the plastics were scratched, thats all. i still use them and the scratches are only noticeable within a few feet
