Hmm let's see... I was gonna stick to the basics because I had intentions to switch to a pregen but I realized I need a new laptop, so the wiser choice was to just MOD what I already have. I did a lot of DYIs, you know.....the whole college student thing.. Anywho.. Here it goes!!!

But that's it for now, I want to also shave the tail to make it kinda look like the new gen, but I'm waiting until I formulate a solid plan

1. Upper and lower fairings removed (damaged in crash by previous owner, too cheap to replace)
2. Aftermarket turn signals installed (broken off in crash by previous owner, front signals are attached to L-brackets mounted to my radiator)
3. Stickers painted over, all remaining fairings are now ghetto gloss black
4. Added duct tape to better secure gauge unit (damaged in crash by previous owner, duct tape and prayers are holding it on)
5. Stock mirrors replaced with bar end mirror

I really want my bike to be a streetfighter. Once I get the money I'll get the appropriate headlamp. Does anyone know how I could more safely (and more attractively) secure my speedo? As much as I value and trust duct tape, it looks too ratty for my tastes.

Before I got got rid of my stock cluster, I had couple mounting points that didn't really hold good. If you don't mind drilling SMALL holes, zip-ties work really
well

5. r1 rear suspension, adjustable height links with a 0.67 shock knuckle ratio
6. sonic springs up front, standard damping valves but 20w motul fork oil, hand made adjustable preload fork caps
7. race rearsets (with upside down shift pattern) and clipons, aftermarket shorty levers. standard throttle tube.

It has a magnet imbedded into it. The magnet sticks out past the thread a few mm. Guess I should have been more specific

So after laying the bike down (low speed low side) and going for a roll in a ditch on the side of the road, I had to replace a few parts, they are still on their way, so I will post pics once everything has arrived, but the list has expanded somewhat.

I'm done modding my bike. The front end feels great, and I've got the fuel injection working well. Just maintenance from here on out. I'm happy with how the bike is performing.

A couple small electrical things like a headlight switch and wiring in my halo, but that hardly counts because that's already been in the plans. I also want to get some saddle bags, but that hardly counts as a modification on my bike
