Just saw this. I'm sure you will be getting a letter if you have not already.

Oh yeah, my steering started acting up in December of last year. Fortunately I have had no issues. I knew the recall was coming, it was just a matter of time. A guy in SD ran his Spyder off the road when the steering locked up at 30 MPH as he approached a turn. He's okay and his Spyder has been repaired.
Thank you for the post! I'll be taking my Spyder in next month for the recall, 15K service, and a new rear tire. Happy Riding!!!!!!
