I want to pick up some for about a grand max. Hopefully with parts that don't have to be replaced, like rotors and such. Plastics can be thrashed. Prefer that the tank isn't though.

I've only got 1 250 in the garage right now. I do have a Ninja 500 race bike that doesn't belong to me and the owner screwed me over I'd be willing to sell to you. No title but possession is 9/10's of the law, right?

See the thing about streetfighter pregens is: no matter what your intent, almost every time someone does one, they all look the same. meh.

Dislike my comment all you want @alex.s and nickypoop, pregen streetfighters are ugly unless they're done as something really special. I especially dislike when people take perfectly fine pregen bodywork and make it a 'streetfighter' and ruin the bike's value over making it ugly.

Found a ninja 250. Looks to be in not so great condition...what would you guys offer.

He wants two grand, and I'm awaiting some answers from him. Straight off the bat, i can see it needs a chain, and set of sprockets, shift and rear brake lever, and plastic work.

Also . don't buy a shift lever. pull that off. put it in a vice. get the rubber off of it

heat it up red hot and bend it back where you want it.

kids these days. so wasteful. I think you can soak that chain in some karo and tran fluid and hit it with a wire brush. Good as new.

Pregens make great cafe racers. They're ugly as sin stock, but have a nice curve to the tank and the frame isn't ugly. Streetfighter? Not so much. Supersports and factory streetfighter/nakeds make good streetfighters, if done right, but small bike frames and tires are too wimpy and skinny to look cool IMO. Still, if done right you can probably make anything look good.

I like cafe racers, hipster judgments and stereotypes be damned. You'll have an awesome set of nakeds with a ZX-6R fighter and Ninja 250 cafe racer, kind of like my bikes except it turns out I don't like naked and upright so much.
