Thought I'd check in
Well the 929 and I were doing fine, went up to Nederlands on hw 119 last Saturday, but unfortunately a car merged into my lane during a left hand turn and forced me off the road. I was ejected from the bike, flew about 10 feet and skidded for 26 feet where I landed into a dirt embankment.
I suffered a broken collar bone and some bruises, if I wasn't wearing all the gear it would have been much worse.  Bikes not too bad, she'll get all new fairings, its all cosmetic and will run about $1000 to fix up and I'm repainting the tank to create a new look for her. It'll be about a month till my shoulder heals. |
