You know the cap has two positions right !? The cutouts dictate where the cap can be applied, then turn clockwise (righty tightly) the first step is like 1/8 of a turn, light pressure. The second step is another 1/8 (for a 1/4 turn in total) this second step has more resistance & sets the spring pressure on the pressure seat seal. I suspect you are only at step one ! |

I agree with Mohawk. It looks like the cap is either not fully seated or you may need a new cap.

Maybe it’s my bike, but radiator cap only seats fully in one direction. Even though there’s two fingers on cap and it appears it can go on in one of two rotations 180-degrees apart, only ONE of those positions will allow full clicking into 2nd final fully seated position.
After bike cools off, try unscrewing radiator cap, note its position, remove, rotate 180-degrees and reinstall and see if it goes to 2nd-stage to fully seal. |

Hey, I apprentice all the info I will try it out once I get home.
Also, could it be a possibility the radiator neck filler is broken or cracked? |

Possible? Sure. But I'm with everyone else on this one - either a bad cap or you don't have it seated correctly.
