Interesting old bikes thread

I thought it might be fun to have a thread of interesting older bikes 50s/60s/70sand 80s that come up on ebay and other sites. By the nature of auctions these don't stay on the web for long so this might be the only chance to see them.

I'll start with a 1966 Suzuki T10 in oz The last Suzuki 250 before the Super Six
Notable for it's hydraulic brake
http://www.shannons.com.au/auctions/...GDF1323XMM76I/

And one of the early Lambretta open style scooters on ebay in excellent condition

50's - 70's, hmmm i'm more of an 80's guy but most of those can hardly be considered old or vintage.

Nicely restored Kawasaki BSA copy ( I think it was based on the A10)
Too expensive but I used to live near this dealer and they really cherry pick the best stuff if you are a lottery winner

Had one of those, fun little bike w/great handling charateristics.. screams like an angry bee at 13k rpm but only going 80 mph.. closed-ratio gearbox is great for track work, not for top speed cruising. My cost $1200 back in 2004, w/7k on odo. I sold that CB-1 to a friend who was trying to quit smoking cigarettes, he switch to pot instead.

Here's my birthday present for myself last year: 83 Honda GL650, Transverse V-twin engine & shaft drive, a la Moto Guzzi, likely one of the most reliable Hondas, but due to economic condition of that era; Honda lost $$ on nearly every one sold in the US and stopped making them, used one in good conditions are showing up as nice collectables now:

The One Year Wonder

Had one myself,(500 version)

An immensely comfortable bike to ride. like a powered armchair. Relaxing with a lovely lazy engine that just burbles along. I might get another if I can find one.

Cool

Find one that's unmolested, with as much OEM part still on the bike.
Most I've seen nowadays are chopped up to be cafe racers

My buddy recently sold this gem. BIG bucks. 1912 H-D Single, leather belt drive. He actually rode it from Kitty Hawk SC to Santa Monica CA in the 2010 Cannonball Run. For the ride he laced modern rims to the hubs, added modern tires, rechargeable lighting, and a hand operated rear disk brake. Upon completion of the ride he removed that stuff and put it back stock.
