Grip Installation Trick/Tip

When you are installing new grips its best to tape off the throttler tube opening because when installing the new grips some glue mite get inside the tube and the handlebar itself thus glue'ing the tube to the handlebar i just used some duck tape that comes off clean

^ I used hair spray too when I transfered my stock grips to my woodcrafts. Also, a trick for getting the grip off the bike; have an air compressor handy. If you aim the air blast just right up the inside of the grip, it will float it off the handlebar for just a moment, and you can slip it right off. works wonders

Another tip, if using grip glue such as from cyclegear or anything, wear gloves. Its a mess and gets on your hands if youre not careful. Ask me how I know. <

Spray paint from a rattle can also works well.
To remove, push a screwdriver between the bar and grip then squirt WD40 and wriggle the grip back and forth, it will slide off easily.

Nice tips. I've had so pro grips sitting on my desk for almost 6 months now. I didn't want to install on OEM bars when I had ordered some clip ons. (issues with getting clip ons in stock/shipped so I still don't have them)

when i did my heated grips, i just used an air compressor with a nozzle attachment. shoved it under the grip, blasted with air and twisted and pulled. did the same to put them back on.

Spray adhesive acts as a lubricant to get the grips on and then dries to keep them in place. No hits, no errors, no runs, err uh.. no mess, no gloves.

I have the same ones, but in green/carbon color, love them too! They give an awesome feeling paired with some leather racing gloves

I used hairspray to make them stick, and abit hot soapwater to get them over the bar-ends since I didnt take them off while installing these.
