No, its just a buddy and I who don't normally run M1GP building a bike. I raced with Kit during the 4hr and decided to build this one... then work sent me to the east coast.

The team is established. I'm just out of the loop since I pulled back a few months ago. I think there are like 6 committed people already registered, but they were aiming for 7-8.

I'm not sure what I'm doing- I will likely not be racing in this 24h since I can't commit this far out. Otherwise my west coast racing just depends on what's happening at work.

I'll PM you the email of my friend Fred who's doing all the work now. He actually knows what the deal is, unlike my worthless ass.

I unfortunately have moved my name to the "Maybe" status. Bent rim from the Sears Point round and the possibility of dropping $$ for a toy hauler have moved my plans to an October visit.

You could always just save your money and come down in november when the entire western road racing world is planning to be there

But october is good too. You won't miss too much skipping the blisteringly painful heat that will likely be the september round, so don't feel too bad.

Well another way of putting Tiff could be...

I should probably come down in October to get some practice time on the track and then I would be ready when the entire western road racing world is planning on being there!

In fact, it would probably be a good time to work out the R6 in November as well dependant on the date of the November races....yeah I'm too lazy to go search the dates right now as I shut down my office to go home

Also if anyone needs a ride from the South Bay (Torrance/Redondo) there is room for 1 more bike in the trailer. Rides on either friday morning or saturday morning can be arranged, and food/water/gatorade plus shade and generator access is all included for a flat $135 fee.

I'll be doing race day reg since there are a few to many pit falls between now and griding up for the start of the race.

I'm still progressing under the assumption that @Zombiphone is still going to lend me her spare bodywork for the weekend.

I've got my rearsets on but I had a bit of a hangup with the clipons I ordered so I'll still waiting on those but I'll race with stock bars no problem. Motion Pro throttle install was a success and I already have race tires mounted.

I have a buddy who just bought a ninja 250 yesterday and is planning on coming down with me for the new racers school on his new bike.

FYI - Preregistration will save you the headache of waiting in line and a few bucks which can be used towards gas/food/etc. I highly recommend preregistration.
