I'm telling you guys it's all going to be down to the last corner of the last lap of the last race of the season. Kit just spent 24 hours straight training for this, I'll be traveling into a mysterious hermitage in the middle of the forest to train with a retired master of the arts.

Yeah I'm super bummed about it. I really want to make the November round so we'll see if I can make that happen but I don't have high hopes for it.

One trick I learned when buying used parts for the bike on Ebay. I first search for "ninja 250 parts" Many times, someone is selling collection of parts that includes what I'm looking at nearly the same price as what the part cost by itself. That way, I get what I need plus extra spares.

In other news, my 250's frame is twisted. You'd think I'm sad but really I'm happy about it. I been having problems with my left turns, the bike keeps leaning with no input to the handle bars. So in the middle of the turns, I'd either have to counter steer or push off the ground with my knee.

I'm sooo excited to have this fixed for October. 2.09.99 here I come!!!!

Was the bent frame caused from your last crash? Where was it bent?

I told Tige about my problems and he said it either me or the frame is bent.

So I took it Dr Jon's in Anaheim. Called me today to say the frame was twisted (don't have the exact details) but forks are true.

I've always had this problem with the left turns. The original owner crashed on street. The peg got caught on the pavement, spun the bike around and bent the rear set frame mounts. Then it went through 5 crashes with me (1 street / 4 track), all low sides with no bike flipping. So after 6 crashes, I'm not surprise it bent.

How good of a job they did, how fast the turn around was and how easy they are to deal with, price if you're okay with sharing. I'm about to have a frame worked on by Mackie up in Sierra Madre so I'm interested to share experiences.

I went by http://www.socalmoto.org/forum/showthread.php?t=13448

It seems both Mackie and Dr J were highly recommended. I went with Dr. J cause he's closer. He charges $200 to check the frame and if it is bent then its $400 (this includes the $200 to check) to fix. Takes about 1-2 weeks.
