Which of these two exhausts should I get?

Yoshimura TRC
http://www.biohazardcycles.com/servl...RC-SLIP/Detail

or

Leo Vince Corsa GP
http://www.biohazardcycles.com/servl...SLIP-ON/Detail

I'm kind of at a stand still right now. If you have another suggestion, let me know. Thanks!

Go with the Yosh because any GP style exhaust is going to be stupid loud.

Are those GP style slip-on's still crazy loud even with the baffle in? I can handle a quite a bit of noise, but if it is just going to be obnoxious... Then ill go with the Yosh. Any other suggestions that are not overly expensive?

^I would also be interested in this.
I wanted to go for the GP corsa because it was cheaper. I like the way it sounds better than the yoshi in the videos too, but if it's loud even with the baffle I might have to shell out the extra money for yoshi

That's what I have. I posted a crappy cell phone video of it on youtube. I like it, it's loud, but not obnoxious. Getting the baffle will help as well, which I do not have.

Link to original page on YouTube.

Yeah, for the price, you can't beat it, imo. I really liked the yosh pipe and 2 bros...but I just can't justify paying that much just for the way it sounds, particularly on a 250.

no way I would spend 1/5th of what my bike cost on a slip on. I personally will get the Danmoto Jisu and use the rest to get full coverage insurance 1yr+

Area P or Yoshimura. But loud pipes get really ****ing annoying. Especially on a bike that turns 10k rpm at 80mph. Area P has a quiet system that gives you the same performance

Yes, Areap P QC.... get that. That is what most of the founding fathers of this board run.

Sounds good. I'll look into the Area P. Does it have a good tone/rumble?

Very deep sound and a bit louder than stock but not to the point that you will piss people off. This is of course with the 18" can, the 12" can is loud as ****

got one shipped up here, never regretted it, puts a smile on my face every time I giv'er. Also popping blue flames at night tickles my fancy too.

Also think about the abuse to your ears if you do alot of long trips, you might be more comfortable with the Area P QC than a GP style.

Definitely agree with this... I bought my Ninja with a Tsukigi Race Exhaust that the previous owner installed and it is super loud... especially on the highway. Its loud enough to not want to use the whole the whole power band of the bike due to pure noise considerations. It does sound really mean though.

Off topic - if my bike is jetted, can you run a stock exhaust?

This guy is right. Why put money on a ****** little 250? Afterall we only buy these things and ride them for a month so that we can hop up onto liter bikes

Bro, my Vance & Hines CS one slip on is awesome. Looks mean as and has a sick grumble. Surprised there's not more talk on them. They easily look the most at home with the lines of a Ninja 250, not like sticking a bloody big toilet roll looking thing on.

How much is a Vance and Hines? And if any of them look at home on the 250 it's the Jisu because it matches the angularity on the body lines.

I agree on sticking a paper towel roll on the exhaust though.

Just looked up vance and hines, and it sounds good. But I cannot justify paying that much for a slip on ($500 on their website)

This seller is the best I found anywhere. I got mine in black to match the bike. 388USD + postage? Sweet. Especially when buying in Australian dollars which were killing the USD at the time. Back to about even now.

HAHA it is awesome mate. The angles on it just fit our bikes so well. it runs parallel with the rear seat cowl & just looks like a part of the bike rather than a foreign towel roll looking thing. Bloody loud though!

Thanks mate. I was chatting to the guy I bought em off saying I had to chop down the bars a bit more to get them flush with the grips. He goes "why don't you just move the controls" it's amazing how you can miss something so obvious when you have your blinkers on! What a retard I felt like.

got the Leo Vince Corsa GP installed over the weekend, and I'm VERY satisfied with this purchase. it's definitely louder than stock at low speeds, even with the silencer installed...but once you get around freeway speeds it's hardly noticeable. would definitely recommend if you're looking for an improvement to stock (in both sound and weight) at the ~$200 price range.
