any way to get "friction" back into the choke lever

Hi all.

My choke lever recently lost the friction needed to get it choked without me holding it.

Can the friction be reset/tightened in the handlebar mechanism or do I need to buy a new choke lever?

wrap some gaffer tape around shaft of choke lever so it rubs on controls housing.

Isn't there a screw you can tighten on the carb for that? Like the little rail thingy?

Nah, there's just a fixed cable-stop for choke-cable with no adjustment whatsoever.

Interesting. @op: the tape will work fine but if you want a slightly more elegant solution, you could try using a few layers of heat shrink tubing over the lever as well.
