Well......it was bound to happen....

I was out Fri..... Sept 21.... Headed home from a dentist appointment and I got to an intersection and thought I could speed up and catch the light for left turn. Ended up a little faster than I thought so slowed down using rear brakes and there was sand. I slid and slammed into a car and went flying off the bike. I got minor scrapes and didn't do too much damage to the bike. Just some scrape and small hole in the fairing and a busted turn signal and bent handle bars. Worst part is someone was coming to look at it Saturday cause I just bought a new bike.

And I busted my phone. Sadness there too

Sorry to hear about your accident but I’m glad that you’re ok and there’s not much damage to the bike.

Glad you're OK, and the damage wasn't too bad. Were you using only the rear brakes, or in combination with the front brakes?
