track time, fork oil
Hi, I'm setting up my 2008 Ninja 250 for the track to race. I'm 200lbs with riding gear. This bike is track only.
I have read that either 15 or 20wt is ideal for fork oil. What brand and weight of fork oil do you use and recommend? I read that not all brands have consistent oil weights, the viscosity differs between brands. What do the 250 racers use?? |

Bel Ray 15w, with gold valve cartridge emulators set at 3 turns in. Stock springs, stock preload.
I'm 150lbs, and I'm running an Avon RoadRider front, and a BT45 rear, stock sizes.

Thanks for the input.
I will be running in WSMC at the start of next season. I want to put the 250 on the track soon to get used to it since I've been doing track days with my R6. |
